Abstract: The digital age has brought significant changes in the study and interpretation of the Bible, creating new challenges and opportunities in exegesis. This study aims to explore the impact of digital technology on the methodology and practice of biblical exegesis, and proposes an integrative model that balances tradition and innovation. Using a desk study method with descriptive analysis of relevant literature, this research examines the advantages and disadvantages of using digital tools in biblical studies. The results show that digital technologies increase accessibility and efficiency in biblical studies, but also pose risks such as technology dependency and potential misinterpretation. The proposed integrative model combines traditional methods with digital innovations, offering a more comprehensive and relevant approach to biblical exegesis in the digital age. This research emphasizes the importance of critical-constructive approaches and digital literacy in contemporary theological education. In addition, it reveals that online collaboration and discussion open up new spaces for a more dynamic and inclusive exchange of theological ideas, but also require the development of digital ethics. The proposed integrative model includes elements such as maintaining the practice of personal reflection, utilizing digital text analysis, expanding the concept of learning communities, and integrating multimedia to enhance understanding of the historical and cultural context of the Bible. The research also highlights the importance of personalized learning and multi-modal approaches in memorizing and applying biblical teachings.
Abstrak: Era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam studi dan interpretasi Alkitab, menciptakan tantangan dan peluang baru dalam eksegesis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dampak teknologi digital terhadap metodologi dan praktik eksegesis Alkitab, serta mengusulkan model integratif yang menyeimbangkan tradisi dan inovasi. Menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan analisis deskriptif terhadap literatur terkait, penelitian ini mengkaji kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan alat digital dalam studi Alkitab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan efisiensi dalam studi Alkitab, namun juga menimbulkan risiko seperti ketergantungan teknologi dan potensi misinterpretasi. Model integratif yang diusulkan menggabungkan metode tradisional dengan inovasi digital, menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dan relevan dalam eksegesis Alkitab di era digital. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan kritis-konstruktif dan literasi digital dalam pendidikan teologi kontemporer. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kolaborasi dan diskusi online membuka ruang baru untuk pertukaran ide teologis yang lebih dinamis dan inklusif, namun juga memerlukan pengembangan etika digital. Model integratif yang diusulkan mencakup elemen-elemen seperti mempertahankan praktik refleksi pribadi, memanfaatkan analisis teks digital, memperluas konsep komunitas belajar, dan mengintegrasikan multimedia untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konteks historis dan budaya Alkitab. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya personalisasi pembelajaran dan pendekatan multi-modal dalam memorisasi dan penerapan ajaran Alkitab.
