Analisis Bentuk Kiastik Mazmur 23 Dalam Hubungan Pencipta Dan Ciptaan

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the structure of the chiastic form in Psalm 23, which is one of the main characteristics of Hebrew poetry. So far, the study of Psalm 23 has mostly focused on its pastoral themes and metaphorical richness, so its structural aspects have often been neglected. Using a literary hermeneutic approach, particularly in the subgenre of wisdom literature, this study reveals structural patterns that imply theological depth in the relationship between the Creator and the creation. This study found that there are four main roles of the Lord in Psalm 23: first, the Lord who preserves and guarantees life; second, the Lord who guides towards tranquility and abundance; third, the Lord who guides and provides; fourth, the Lord who accompanies in the valley of the shadow of death. These four roles form a chiastic arrangement that reinforces the holistic meaning of the poem. This research is expected to contribute to the development of biblical studies, especially in the study of Hebrew poetry and wisdom literature, and provide theological learning for believers to understand the spiritual relationship between the Creator and creation in a deeper and more personal way.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur bentuk kiastik dalam Mazmur 23, yang merupakan salah satu ciri khas utama dari puisi Ibrani. Selama ini, kajian terhadap Mazmur 23 lebih banyak berfokus pada tema pastoral dan kekayaan metaforisnya, sehingga aspek strukturalnya kerap terabaikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik sastra, khususnya dalam subgenre sastra hikmat, penelitian ini mengungkap pola struktural yang menyiratkan kedalaman teologis dalam relasi antara Pencipta dan ciptaan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat empat peranan utama Tuhan dalam Mazmur 23: pertama, Tuhan yang memelihara dan menjamin kehidupan; kedua, Tuhan yang membimbing menuju ketenangan dan kelimpahan; ketiga, Tuhan yang menuntun dan menyediakan; keempat, Tuhan yang menyertai dalam lembah kekelaman. Keempat peranan ini membentuk susunan kiastik yang memperkuat makna puisi secara holistik. Riset ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan studi biblika, khususnya dalam kajian puisi Ibrani dan sastra hikmat, serta memberi pembelajaran teologis bagi orang percaya untuk memahami relasi spiritual antara Pencipta dan ciptaan secara lebih mendalam dan personal.
